Bio

Siebe Hermans (°2001) is a Belgian drummer most known for his work in the extreme metal scene. Playing for When Plagues Collide, Reverse the Sun, Verwilderd and Defenestration, Siebe has travelled across Europe sharing the stage with bands such as: Aborted, Pig destroyer, Rotting Christ and Archspire. Alongside his projects he currently spends his time studying pop music at The!Kunsthumaniora in Antwerp and has played as a session member for bands such as Pantheïst (UK), Storm upon the masses and a growing list of Belgian musicians and singers.

Starting to play drums from the young age of 8 years old and mentored by Paul Zegers (Jean Bosco Safari), he knew he wanted to play as hard and extreme as he could, while also keeping groove and dynamics at the heart of his style through influences such as Eugene Ryabchenko, Guilio Galati, Gavin Harrison and Eric Moore. Later he began studying pop music at The!Kunsthumaniora in Antwerp where he currently is taking lessons from Koen Lieckens (K's choice) and Steven Cassiers (Dans Dans). Siebe is still currently in his last year planning to go to a specialist music conservatory.

After the release of Verwilderd's debut album "Homo Homini Lupus Est", Reverse the sun's selftitled debut EP and When Plagues Collide's newest single "Tears of a King" he is working on new material for his own bands and sessions.

Siebe proudly uses and endorses Diril cymbals and Artbeat drumsticks.
